Many rumors and bad press was going around before the big concert on Saturday about the Lebanese Metal Scene. Beirut Rock Festival 2009 proved all who were trying to bash us wrong. The concert was a success from beginning to end, and all you fans and metal heads proved that we are here for the music an...d not for the drugs and corruption present at other types of concerts.
TristMoon, Weeping Willow, To Die For, and Anathema gave their very best and made the night a head banging fest. The lights and sound were amazing, and the atmosphere left everyone wanting more.
TristMoon played songs from their upcoming album, including a new song the fans have not heard before, “Globe of Shade”.
We would like to thank the organizers, the bands, and especially the fans for making this concert a huge success and we hope Beirut Rock sets the momentum for more glorious events like this.
